Drama about a mother in suburbia who, as an aggressive prosecutor, takes on cases in her neighbourhood. When a woman is killed on the night of her engagement, suspicion falls on her obsessive alcoholic uncle who is found drunk nearby. However, as his defence team enter a plea of insanity, Annabeth uncovers another crime from decades previously which turns the case on its head.
