Charmed is a supernatural thriller set in San Francisco. It follows the lives of the three Halliwell sisters; Pru, the beautiful and driven oldest sister (Shannen Doherty), Piper, the earthy and creative middle sister (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe, the free-spirited youngest sister (Alyssa Milano) who discover that they are the direct descendents of a long line of female witches. They soon discover that they are the 'Charmed Ones', the most powerful good witches the world has ever known

Each of the sisters have their own special ability; Piper can freeze time, Pru can move objects and Phoebe can see into the future. By combining these skills into the 'Power of Three', the sisters become a force to be reckoned with when battling evil, which appear in the forms of demons, warlocks, and other creatures of evil.
