Danny is trailing a man through New York's subway tunnels when the suspect opens fire. Danny shoots, only to discover that the man he has killed is an undercover cop. Other officers and witnesses believe Danny has killed the wrong man, so it's up to Mac to prove otherwise. Elsewhere, Stella enters the privileged world of the Upper West side as she investigates the murder of a nanny.
