Dead Ringer

Series 4, episode 20

Whilst participating in a relay race for police officers in the Nevada desert, Grissom and Catherine discover a dead colleague near the track. The two have to abandon their pursuit for the title to look into the apparent murder. Their investigation soon leads the CSIs to two more bodies in what looks like a double suicide, but Grissom suspects foul play and believes he's dealing with a double homicide. Elsewhere, Warrick and Sara investigate the shooting of an officer.
