Grissom, Nick and Warrick investigate after a jogger is viciously attacked by a dog, with the evidence leading them to suspect that the dog's owner - a doctor - has been harvesting human organs for profit. Elsewhere, Catherine becomes emotionally involved in the murder of a six-year-old girl.
