Buffy sees that Dawn is hanging out with Spike, and asks her sister whether she has a crush on the vampire. However, Dawn reveals that Spike is in love with Buffy, which Spike soon confesses to the slayer. But Buffy is disgusted and rejects him. Meanwhile, a train arrives in Sunnydale with all of its passengers dead, and Drusilla on board. She has returned to Sunnydale to convince Spike that the chip in his brain does not cause pain.
