On the day of her 20th birthday, Buffy tells the Scooby Gang that Dawn is The Key, leading her friends to act suspiciously around Dawn. In the night, Dawn leaves Buffy's birthday party and breaks into the Magic Box with Spike, where she discovers Giles' diary and the truth about herself. Meanwhile, Glory destroys the Knights of Byzantium, and somehow switches bodies with Ben to fight Buffy and her friends.
