Attila was Mongoloid, not European. The Huns were Asiatics. To cast Scots as Scythians might make sense, as there has been a long tradition of a Scottish/Pictish Scythian origin, but not as Huns. Orientals should be cast as Huns. The Huns did most things on horseback, especially fighting, and they were expert at showering the enemy with arrows. The 'Huns' in this film spent most of their time on foot and recieving arrows from the foe. And no all conquering army worth its salt would indulge in a Braveheart style charge across open ground into the teeth of enemy swords. This Hollywood invention is a nonsense that has been consistently repeated by every epic ever since. Please get some decent consultants on the appearance of ancient peoples and their tactics.
