Nelle admits to Hope that she is regretting leaving the firm, Hope then tries to talk to Richard and John, there reception is interesting! Ally introduces Brian to her parents, and although she is happy about having a boyfriend, her and her father are having many problems. The real reason Ally's upset with her father is revealed, and the two have a traditional father and daughter sing along to make up. Renee, Elaine and Randy Newman serenade John at his birthday party leaving a warm and friendly feel to the end of the series.
