Ally is devastated, not only about reaching thirty, but also that Mark thought she was forty! Ally then visits a cosmetic surgeon to try and rectify the ageing problem and has her lips enhanced only to later have them drained. Elaine insists on planning a birthday party for Ally where Richard convinces Mark that it's traditional for the new boy to sing a solo, this however has a surprising result. Elaine and Renee end up fighting over being the star of the night and one of them ends up with a black eye!
