Ally is fretting over what to wear for her first official date with Cheanie, one of the firm's clients. Everything goes well and they have a dance, but when she eagerly anticipates their goodnight kiss, Cheanie just pecks her on the cheek instead, for this Ally doesn't return any of his calls. Will they sort it out, and more to the point will Ally ever be happy with any bloke she meets. Georgia and Ally surprise everyone when they team up in a sex-discrimination case, representing Barbara Cooker, a TV anchorwoman bringing a sex-discrimination lawsuit against her former station. The case goes well and the jury seems to like Ally particularly her closing statement, as does her client!
