Her father warns her that SD-6 or the Alliance will try to kill her if she leaves. Jack & Sydney then become trapped in an SD-6 elevator when the emergency lockdown procedures are enacted by Sloane, who is now being held hostage with the rest of his staff by intruders. The leader of the intruders is an ex-operative known as McKenas Cole, and he wants access to the vaults. He prepares to torture Sloane for the access codes, unaware that, under lockdown, opening the vault will destroy the whole building!
