When will there be another new series of Zoo Days?

Also, is it possible to send messages to the keepers?

The zoo-keeper who looks after the baby lions has an incredibly 'plumby'voice. Where did he get it? He sounds like Prince Charles.

I thought that I had watched all the programmes, but I missed what happened to the pregnant elephant, whose waters had broken but nothing further was happening. Please will you tell me what the outcome was, for both mother and calf?

    Many thanks

    Mary Pollard.

I'm commenting on what is probably the first series, currently airing in Australia. In common with many other programs of a similar general nature, this one intertwines multiple action threads. Also in common with the others, this one is somewhat repetitive. The directors appear not the trust the audience to remember what they saw a few minutes ago, let alone what was in the previous episode (if I should hear once more how ironic it is that a spectacled bear should have vision problems...) Or perhaps it's just an excessive desire to cater for channel surfers who arrive mid program (give it up - you'll lose them at the next commercial break anyway). The tendency to show previously used footage again, sometimes multiple times, coupled with the thread intertwining, reaches the point where the viewer loses track of what order the bits of footage actually belong in.

Which is a shame, because otherwise it's an entertaining program.

Margret the Girrafe is not dead. Her mother Faye recently passed away but Margret is still alive. The baby elephant died but the mother survived and is doing well. There are no plans for any more series of Zoo Days.
