Who added to this magnificently well made program those odoriferous, unnecessary and tearful (Check for yourself) "experts"? Mr. Hall has done a wonderfully balanced and explicit program but I am sure that someone at the BBC (The producer?) felt in the obligation to "clarify" to us what Mr. Hall had already said perfectly well. The use of talking heads "experts" are as irritating as dramas shot with hand held cameras.

Rich Hall looses all credibility with his mindless spew of vitriol against President George Bush.

How does Rich Hall lose credibility, he has never been a George Bush supporter. Unless you are implying: that any one that does not support George Bush has no credibility. I think you will find that a nation where those that criticise their leaders are persecuted are not considered to be fair or free nations. RE: the first amendment. I assure you that many people have grievances with George bush and they are far from mindless.

His credibility is lost in that he stands in front of The Tombstone Epithet spewing his hatred for President Bush while trying to make a film about Western movies. Yes our Bill of Rights assures him that Freedom, however the history of the "Western" does not begin and end with Mr. Bush. If the goal of this film was to show a connection between the American Western and the world view Hollywood tried to portray at any period in history regarding world conflict, I do not see how dating it with a direct attack on current events helps in that direction. If the goal was to make a direct response to the issues today then the use of movies from years and decades ago makes no sense.
By the way. The United States is a Country not a Nation. A Nation is joined by a common Ethnicity. Language and religion.
