This was an insult to anyone with intelligence. I was laughing out loud at the woman recording out of focus points of light saying they were UFO's. A shame this will frame all cases worthy of investigation like that of Colonel W. De Brouwer, Belgian Air Force 1989 onwards. Crap.

Oh dear-another skeptic moron who can't follow a programme properly. Why do these muppets bother? I mean, someone has the guts to tell what they saw and then another, like john, comes along and slates them for it. Yeah-like your the great expert, arn't you john...or should I call you twat!

The theory of "Staff Bus" and "Works Bus" on the Alan Godfrey story I can dismiss, my late father was the driver of both. The staff bus he only ran as required as it was not in sevice, the works bus was much later in the morning.

I was a colleague of Alans and worked at Sowerby Bridge at the time. He never sought publicity and was fully convincing when, reluctantly, telling the tale to other officers. It was the talk of the nick at the time - and numerous officers 'took the rise'. I didn't !

The story went that the Chief Constable at the time orchestrated Alan leaving the Force as he didn't want 'nutters like that' in (my) Force.

Incidentally, that is why I refused to support a colleague when we saw ?another? UFO some years later high above Scammonden Dam early one summer morning. (Cigar shaped object stationary then off at a high speed (Air Traffic Control reported no objects at that time in the air !)

    I valued my pension !
