This series is a completely new and unique project brought to us from Channel 4.

For the first time, all 19 of Samuel Beckett's plays have been put on film, bringing together some of the world's most talented directors and actors.

The official website, published to accompany the RTÉ / Channel 4 / Irish Film Board series, includes a brief critical introduction to the plays, an indepth chronology of Beckett's life, suggestions for how you can find out more about Beckett and his work, and information about the origins of the project and the films' producers.

There are also synopses about each film, including revealing interviews with many of the directors and actors along with stills and clips from the films.
