I can't believe it but I finally found the wedding cake recipe at :-

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/print/weddingcake_89766.shtml

Don't know why it doesn't come up on a straight search, I had tto search on 'cake' and plough through.

For those looking for the recipes, perhaps this is an easier way.

    Go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/advanced_search.shtml

This is the advanced search page. Click on the drop down box for 'Programme" and let it stop on Hairy Bakers. That should get you the recipes.

For those looking for Hairy Biker recipes, go to http://www.hairybikers.com/

    Good luck :)

The salmon one will be going with us to Oz in December when we go on holiday. Our children live there with their families and are all salmon lovers. Keep the good show going. You have both a very interesting and amusing show.

Am a big fan of the Hairy Bakers[Bikers] but as someone who makes all her own bread by hand[ and lives in Cumbria!]and tries to get other to do the same, I was dissappointed at the long times of the recipes used. I'm afraid my breadmaking is much quicker and this is what is needed to inspire more people to do it. Am looking forward to the cakes!!!!!!
