    Sir.

I fail to see why Jilly Goolden can possibly be qualified to be a food critic.

She looks like a good square meal would kill the pretentious twerp.

I enjoy this programme and the judges are generally very fair. However, the comments made about vegan and vegetarian and even the raw food dishes is very prejudiced and unfair. Millions of people are vegan/vegetarian; it's about time they were given some respect by chefs too and not treated as unreasonable and batty.

Britains Best Dish 2009 recipes - go to GOOGLE, type in britains best dish followed by key words eg: britains best dish goat curry or britains best dish cinder toffee ice cream. Goat curry is second item down and molten sticky toffee pudding with cinder ice cream in first item down. For list of recipies go to www.itv.com/lifestyle/food/britainsbestdish/default.html then click on puddings then click on first celebrity recipe under 'A'(Toyah Wilcox) and type recipe key words in search box on right hand side. Good luck.

Sorry... they keep changing it. For the list of receipes, instead of clicking on puddings and then Toyah Wilcox, just click on the photograph of Starters, Mains or Puddings and then on the left hand side is the box for keying in your key word for ingredients, eg, goat curry. This web site drives you nuts.

How long did Anne Brown (13th October in competition with the lamb curry) cook her steak and kidney pudding for? Apart from 4 hours for the meat and 6 hours for the gravy which they banged on about ad infinitum, the actual cooking of the assembled pud itself appears to be part of the Official Secrets Act!!

Absolutely brilliant, I've dashed home every night so I won't miss anything. My evening cuppa won't be the same until the new series starts, but I've still got tonights final to look forward to.The recipes are great and I've printed off several to have a try at. The 2 youngsters going head to head tonight with their puddings are an inspiration to me.
