Please could you think about featuring doglost.co.uk in one of the shows. I dont think anyone is totally aware of how many dogs are being stolen or are going missing in the UK. Sometimes they are sold in pubs for drug money or are sold for illegal hunting or are used for breeding. Just today a lurcher one of three stolen together last week has been found dead shot in the head and run over. Dont take my word for what is going on possibly you could talk to Jayne Hayes the founder of doglost.co.uk or have a look at their web site..it says all that I am saying plus a lot more.
Thank you

Hi. Since I spend my days at work, I usually miss the show. However, one day during the last series, I switched on to find a young female operatic singer with a wonderful voice. She must be new onthe scene as Alan made the comment "you heard her here first". The name sounded foreign and I did not pick it up. Can you tell me who she was"? Please????

Dear Mr Titchmarsh
Can you please help, I am looking for a Garden Plant called Isabella.
I would prefer one that you can just plant and leave, maybe with just a little pruning when it is required.
The reason I would like it is because my Mother's name was called Isabella, and I think it is such a pretty name, that is why I would like one.
I am wondering if you can help where I can get one from.
I live in Abingdon which is near Oxford, but neither my Husband or I can drive, if you could help I would much appreciate it.
your show today discussed taxation and a citizens income.I am working on an idea for a new monetary system that will solve most of the worlds problems, Please ask Alan to look at my proposals.I believe he will find them of interest.I would like to go on his show to discuss them.It would be a change to to see someone at the bottom of society putting their proposals for solutions rather than some of the people that are at the top with their celebrity status. yours with sincerity Eric Mann

Great show Alan, but the set you are in really makes me laugh with the huge mauve urns which in some shots come between you and the guest, the topiary trees like soldiers and the huge church type flower arrangements. Also all the mosiac wooden boxes on your table and behind you detract from you.
I don't know if you ever see the programme afterwards, but if you do I am sure you will see what I mean. I keep thinking it is the sort of set that Frankie Howard would have had.
Great show so much lighter and more variety than other chat show.

After the fun of watching you make bread with Rosemary Shrager we were brought down to earth by the bullying and rude way you treated Carol Thatcher. Hello Alan
I have just been watching your show with regards to the servicemen and women that are having to pay for their own kit.... i have spent 22 years in the Army and all basic kit i.e Boots was supplied to us through the QMs department, it wasnt the best and if i required better then i had to pay which we did however it was still supplied free of charge, with regards to pay the basic pay within the army is a good rate but aditional payment for the operational environments that they serve in should be better rewarded. the final point is that i feel that the MOD cannot justify the payments made to service personel that are injured or killed, the amount of money paid cannot compensate for the loss of life or limb that they unfortunately endure, Ben Parkers award for being wounded in BATTLE is digusting when put next to the lesbian soldier that was awarded nearly £500,000 for a "sexist comment" and RSI awards are a joke. However this is only my opinion. but i know that i am not alone in my thoughts.
Regards
Mark

Alan - we find your show very entertaining and look forward to it - WITH TWO EXCEPTIONS!! What is this obsession with "sex matters" so frequently, and in the afternoon too, when children are just coming home from school? I just can't understand how it is permitted. Do we still have what was known as the "watershed"? The other thing is, why do you interrupt Rosemary Schrager so much and mess around so - it would be so much better if we could listen to her recipes and hear what she is saying in the very short time she is allowed. Please give a bit of thought to these points - otherwise an interesting show.

How sorry I felt for poor Ken Livingstone today - sitting between two women; one with the courage to air a dreadful family problem and one (Carol) who simply wanted to pontificate her views on the matter. She wasn't listening, was she? I read the excerpt from Julia Myerson's book in Sunday's Telegraph. It brought tears to my eyes. Many years ago we had a similar problem with our own son. I didn't write a book about it; I don't have that talent; but I did involve the local police, doctor, and neighbours in my own particular form of "tough love". I think that what I did was not so different from Julia's way of dealing with it. Both involved airing our problem (our family life)publicly. It seemed the only way at the time and, boy, did it hurt! We as a family came through in the end. Keep talking to your son, Julia. Keep the lines open!

I have to say after watching part of the show today I was very dissapointed, so much so I turned over. The reason being was for the very negative and ignorant comments made by the two guests of who I can not be bothered to name just for the simple reason that they can not be bothered to actually research something before making comments on it. I refer to Charles Bronson and the movie they spoke about. This movie is based on the true life story of Michael Peterson not Paterson as stated by Alan AKA Charles Bronson. All the comments I heard by your guests were discustingly negative, there was no mention of the fact that money made by Charlie's works of art etc he gives to charitable causes, but then again they wouldn't know that would they as they are ignorant wealthy people who the general public pay our t.v licenses to watch, how much do they give to charity I wonder? How is a man like Charlie ever going to be let out of prison or even receive any rehabilitation for that fact when people continue to be so negative towards him. The man has never killed anyone and has not been in any trouble for the last 7 years, he is a man who has been turned in to a tortured soul by the system. If your guests had bothered to watch the film they would see that Charlie admits to his wrongs and actually portrays truthfully why he is where he is today, if anything to any young person watching it I am sure would be a deterant against entering a prison. Maybe if he was put in the big brother house he might be more acceptable to watch.... how much did your guest receive for that rubbish I wonder??? Finally I would like to add that Charlie recently sent £75.00 to an 87 year old lady who had her bag stolen at christmas, with a note saying treat yourself.... yes he really is vile isn't he you arrogant little man!
March 13th - 8:07pmmaureen huggins said...
I came home today from viewing the film Bronson at the cinema. I switched on to see your show to amazingly hear the comments about this man. I must say I was shocked to find none of you have done any research about the film before commenting. This film does not show Mr Bronson as an angel, I think it shows his honesty and surely you are not saying that strains of the prison system is not without error. I went to see this film because I wanted to decide for my self and I don't think I want to watch your show anymore as in my opinion its filled with comments to the public that are not correct and I am sad that a lot of people who watch your shows are elderly and may not be able to gain an opinion of there own, being maybe house bound so they sit viewing shows like this that are not researched. By the way the film stated his real name was Michael Peterson not Paterson as Alan said.

OMG! What is Kelvin/Calvin talking about. He needs to get himself out and look at the countryside properly. He came across as totally out of touch with reality today when talking about the countryside and fox hunting. What does he really know about who hunts and why they do it. To balance nature there is no room for being squeamish and ignorant. What he might want to do is have a look at the cruel damage one fox can do to a flock of ewes in the process of lambing. It's nature and nature can be cruel but if he is suggesting shooting a fox is better then he ought to try putting a wounded fox out of it's mysery after being winged by a bullet three days earlier. For an apparently intelligent man he comes across as rather stupid!

I telephoned to complain about the comments made by Carol Malone in the first show of this series. She made unfair comments about people with mental health problems. Dr. Hilary Jones gave a very reasonable and balanced point of view about mental health problems, and Carole alone did not listen to him, and spoke over him. I will not watch any further interviews involving Carole Malone, and switch the programme off when she is on the show. I enjoy the comments made by Ken Livingstone, but will not watch Carole Malone who, as far as I am aware, has not apologised for her comments.

Couldn't believe it when she was able to get away with running down our English Heritage by suggesting we had no background that mattered. Love your programmes and being a Yorkshireman from Silsden, just up the road from you, we need to hang on to our heritage with pride and we cannot be walked on like this.

Thank you
can you tell me what day boy george will be on?
Can you please tell me where I could find the chair (marketed as sex aid for disabled, pregnant etc.) that was shown on your programme on 22/1/08.
We note that you have the gorgeous and talented Lee Mead coming on your (excellent) show in February. Could you thank him for the great pleasure he has given to so many of us through "Joseph" and ask if there are any plans to make a dvd of the show as so many who voted for Lee will never be able to see the show live . Thank you, Alan - great show
This is really bad television. For a man with his experience and talent, I can only assume that money has drawn him to take part in this crap
Please can you tell me the name of the Elvis lookalike on your show on Wednesday 23rd January.? Also where he is appearing?
Please can you tell me the name of the Elvis lookalike on your show on Wednesday 23rd January.? Also where he is appearing
Please????
many thanks
Sandy McNeilly

Dear Mr Titchmarsh
Can you please help, I am looking for a Garden Plant called Isabella.
I would prefer one that you can just plant and leave, maybe with just a little pruning when it is required.
The reason I would like it is because my Mother's name was called Isabella, and I think it is such a pretty name, that is why I would like one.
I am wondering if you can help where I can get one from.
I live in Abingdon which is near Oxford, but neither my Husband or I can drive, if you could help I would much appreciate it.
your show today discussed taxation and a citizens income.I am working on an idea for a new monetary system that will solve most of the worlds problems, Please ask Alan to look at my proposals.I believe he will find them of interest.I would like to go on his show to discuss them.It would be a change to to see someone at the bottom of society putting their proposals for solutions rather than some of the people that are at the top with their celebrity status. yours with sincerity Eric Mann
a week ago on the show there was a gardener doing childrens gardens not sure if it was david domini can u please tell me where to get them from or how to do it as my friend didnt catch it properly and my daughter would love it many thanks katie x

Dilys Wilde
Please help, My mum is desperate to find the book about pruning featured on the show a few weeks ago , thought it would make a nice gift to say thanks for looking after the kiddywinks - please help!!!
Hi, i think that Clare Revera was so good on your show(clare is my godmother) her little girl nina is my best friend
Where is the information on the Great Ormand Street reading challenge?
Great show Alan, but the set you are in really makes me laugh with the huge mauve urns which in some shots come between you and the guest, the topiary trees like soldiers and the huge church type flower arrangements. Also all the mosiac wooden boxes on your table and behind you detract from you.
I don't know if you ever see the programme afterwards, but if you do I am sure you will see what I mean. I keep thinking it is the sort of set that Frankie Howard would have had.
Great show so much lighter and more variety than other chat show.
Best wishes. Helen
Great show, but can't get through on your COMMENTS
Can any one please send me the recipie for the vegitable quiche which was made by one of the masterchef judges.
Many thanks
Bill

After the fun of watching you make bread with Rosemary Shrager we were brought down to earth by the bullying and rude way you treated Carol Thatcher. After portraying yourself as a soft-hearted person who gets on with everyone, you certainly showed us your really nasty side. If you want to kill your image then carry on with the way you acted this afternoon. Disgraceful. This is the first time I've been moved to write to anyone.
my heart went out to carol thatcher this afternoon while watching the rude way you interviewed her You are a disgraceful bully.I will not be watching you again.
I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW RUDE YOU WERE TO CAROL THATCHER. YOU WERE AN INSENSETIVE BULLY I HOPE THE PROGRAMME BOSSES HAD A STRONG WORD WITH YOU ABOUT BRINGING THIS SHOW DOWN TO SUCH A LOW LEVEL.SHE WAS QUITE CORRECT TO SAY WHAT SHE DID AND DIDNT DESERVE TO BE JUDGED IN SUCH A SMALL MINDED WAY. ITS OBVIOUS TO ME THAT IT WAS A MISTAKE ON YOUR PART AND OURS TO GIVE UP GARDENING.
It is not
"Can Women have it all" but can Women do it all. Julia.
I wonder if you can help I believe it was Wednesday the 3rd September that you had an item reguarding the best wine
could you please let me know what the rose wine was that won the award and you thought was the best I believe you said it was about £30:00 thank you
Garry Rousseau
I have never registered a comment about a TV programme until now. I'm still fuming about alan titchmarsh's shockingly rude interview with Carol Thatcher...I had always considered him to be the one of the most gentle and fair television personalities and enjoyed his program whenever working from home but I will never watch any program of his again...stick to shoving plants into the ground Mr. Titchmarsh not people !!
Hey alan i'm adam im 17 years old and am writing today to ask you to take on the challenge of my Grandma and Grandads Garden. They are both 55 years old andlived in their house for 8 and a half years, a few years my grandad was seriously ill for about 10 month hen my grandad was diagnosed with cancer and their garden has never being finished no matter how hard we have tried to do it it has never got done. i would really like your help to finish there garden as it would make them so happy. i really look forward to hearing back from you.

Regards
Mark
What has happened to AT,he has gone from a pussycat to a rottweiller recently!i thought he might have learnt not to be so rude with his guests, after his shocking outburst on Carol Thatcher!but he was at it again today Sep 22nd being very rude to the lady labour politician!!i can only think he is going through the change lol, like us girlies do!get a grip AT,or i will turn you off.

May I just say how disgusted I am, my daughter just coming home from school as are many other sons and daughters at this time of day only to see somebody showing sex toys etc,etc on the television, Alan titchmarsh has just lost alot of viewers including myself, and more than that he should be took off the television now in the afternoons especially,I would have expected a much better standard of television from him,
really disgusted,

Many Thanks Matthew king

I enjoy thhe AT show. Good balance of guests and subjects discussed but, PLEASE, why does the music which punctuates the show have to be so deafeningly loud. I sit with the controller in hand juggling the volume up and down like a bride's nigh..oh..er.. fiddlers elbow !
Vera Cummins, 219, Talbot Road, Blackpool.
hi alan/i.t.v do you get back to anybody thats makes a comments on here as i made a comment back on the 26 of september but still have not got a reply just so i know thanks matthew king
Can someone turn the music down? Like Vera I sit with my finger on the volume button.
This show is cringe worthy on the highest level.
Alan is not funny, he acts like a demented idiot and it is all so staged!!
Bring back daily cooks i say!
The Yorkshire Girls (from Goole) are coming to see you on Tuesday 21st. Say hello if you can. Eileen, Judy, Paulineand Chris.
richard and judy had a regular guest and you have the same "Nick Ferrari"just looking at him mkaes me puke hes just a big fat irratating slob,

hi just been watching your show with the chief scout what a load of rubbish both him and the lady have no idie what leading young children is about he only got the job because of his role in blue peter the leaders have enough responsibility without having to sort out thier sex education (scout leader 30 years with fifty in my troop)
Did anyone see this show on either Monday 20th October or Tuesday 21st October? Apparently, in the course of a chat about couples spicing up their sex life with erotica, they mentioned *my* books and read out an excerpt. If anyone saw the piece, could they contact me and give me a general idea what was said?
Email addie on my website:

Thanks a million!

Jonathan Ross should be sacked he is over paid arrogant and rude, and thinks his smutty schoolboy talk is a substitute for good interviewing. Get rid
HELLO. ON THE BRAND AND ROSS STUPIDITY , I FEEL EVERY ONE SHOULD NOTE ... WHEN SOME ONE MAKES A PRANK CALL SUCH AS THE ONE MADE TO ANDREW SACKS , YOU MUST ALL, ALL , ALL!! THINK WHAT KIND OF IMAGE THIS PUTS INTO THE MIND OF AN ELDERLY MAN, AND HIS FAMILY. AND IF THIS HAD NOT BEEN PLACED IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN, NOTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN KNOWN ABOUT THIS, AND THAT FAMILY WOULD HAVE BEEN ALONE IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THEY MAY CONTINUE TO RECIEVE CALLS LIKE THIS IN THE FUTURE. WITH NOT ONE OF US KNOWING . THINK , THINK, THINK ! IT IS NOT JUST DOWN TO THE PERSON WHO RELEASED THE RECORDING . HAD IT NOT BEEN RELEASED , THE SACKS FAMILY WOULD HAVE BEEN ALONE IN THIS ! AND FOR PEOPLE TO GO ON TV AND SAY ' OH ITS OK AND YOU ARE ALL OVER REACTING' I SAY THIS , WAIT TILL YOUR GRAND PARENT OR YOUR PARENT TELLS YOU THAT THEY ARE RECIEVING SMUTTY HORRID COMMENTS ON THEIR PHONE , YOU'LL SOON BE CALLING THE POLICE . WONT YOU!
hi ya Alan/itv I was watching your show today on 26.09.08 and you had a book of old laws of london or some thing of a similar title and I was just wondering if you could tell me the actual title and the author of the book please keep up the good work

i put this message on here back on the 26/9 but but the ats dont reply so did any one see the show on that date and tell me what the book was called ? many thanks matthew
you featured a book on your show a few books ago, it was on cupcakes. Can someone please give me the name as I just can't remember it. Thank you
How sorry I felt for poor Ken Livingstone today - sitting between two women; one with the courage to air a dreadful family problem and one (Carol) who simply wanted to pontificate her views on the matter.
Hi Alan , Please look at my super potato bag, the first design of it type for your potatoes ,you can display the bag too!
THE ORIGINAL SPUDDYBAG .
I have had great reports on it ,it really does stop the spuds greening and reduces early sprouting .
Please give it the opportunity of a showing on your program ,the bag stops wastage and savs money.
. look at my INDEPENDENT REPORT FROM WRITTLE POST HARVEST COLLEGE . Maggie LYONS of BATH .
My neighbour would appreciate knowing where she can purchase the 99 pence bikini as seen on your show.
In his programme today Alan Titchmarsh mentioned a competition relating to writing a book.
Please do you have any details as this information was given to me by a third party.
Thank you John anthony
Please confirm HOW MANY EGGS are required for the Brian Turner Recipe for Yorkshire Pudding, as my wife and I do not know what 2 cups of eggs means....we are from South Africa, and so not use cups...only Mugs, as we drink COFFEE, and when my wife drinks TEA....(YUCK)...she also uses a MUG. Thanks for a fairly interesting show...we like Brian Turner, although Anthony Worrall-Thompson is a better cook, I think. Diabetic Recipes would be welcome, as there are more Diabetics than there are Chinese, although Yorkshire may be different.
Dear Alan, a little comment about last weeks programme with your guest Trisha Goddard. Couldn't believe it when she was able to get away with running down our English Heritage by suggesting we had no background that mattered. I thought it was a disgrace and know for a fact that if I was sat in that chair and had suggested the same about her family I would have been racist. Love your programmes and being a Yorkshireman from Silsden, just up the road from you, we need to hang on to our heritage with pride and we cannot be walked on like this.
PLEASE ASK MICHAEL WHY HE DOESNT DO MEET AND GREET HIS FANS AT ALBERT HALL.MY DAUGHTER AND HAVE NOT MISSED A CONCERT IN 7YRS,AND SOOOOOO WANT TO MEET HIM PERSONALLY.WE WILL BE THERE TO SEE HIM NEXT MON,ALMOST FRONT ROW SEATS,COUNTING DOWN TO SEE HIM.
We were absolutely disgusted by Titchmarsh's flippant comment that it is cheaper to have your pet put down than to purchase a cd to help calm them re. firework noise. Very poor taste and not funny!!!!!
Dear Sir
Could you possibly explain where all the Gooseberries have gone. I can`t even buy a tin of them at supermarkets!
Years ago England had gooseberry bushes everywhere but can`t find any now.
Thanks
i watched the show on fri 13 nov and alan titmarsh amd guests had a mug of tea in a revolving stir mug he said to purchase it to go to the website gadget .com now i would like to purchase one but i cant find the website
Hi, I was watching the Alan Titchmarsh show on 1st Dec 2009 and could you please forward me the information required for the songwriting competition to provide a song 3 minutes long. Many thanks
I watch Titchmarsh all the time - its great. In the last couple of weeks he had a guest with long red hair who played a baby grand or grand piano while she wore high heeled black shoes. I think Alan said she has been a "star" since the 1980's. What is her name?
Thank's a lot, Helen
PLEASE SEND ME THE RECIPE FOR WHICH BRIAN TURNER MADE FOR HANGOVER BREAKFAST ON SHOW DECEMBER 7TH
what song did the kinks sing on todays show?
