Each year the National Endowment for Society Technology and the Arts holds Famelab, a contest to find new communicators from the world of science. Tom Whyntie is the winner of NESTA's FameLab 2009. Tom works at CERN's Large Hadron Collider near Geneva. He's part of the team searching for Dark Matter. But why do scientists believe it even exists to be discovered?
