Bart escapes from a field trip to a box factory and sneaks into Channel 6 studios next door. While there, he helps Krusty out and lands a job as the clown's assistant. He soon finds the work isn't as glamorous as he expected, but is then asked to be part of a sketch. During the sketch though, Bart crashes into the scenery and destroys the set, uttering "I Didn't Do it!" and becoming an overnight smash.
