Lisa needs a new reed for her saxophone just before the talent contest and asks Homer to get it. But when Homer doesn't get it to her in time because he decides to go to Moe's first Lisa stops loving him. He realises that he has neglected her since she was born, and decides that getting her a pony is the only way to make it up to her.
