After being embarrassed at a movie, Homer drives to a distant bar where he meets a beautiful country singer named Lurleen with a wasted singing talent. Homer decides to put her voice out for the world to hear and soon becomes her manager. But Homer spends more time with Lurleen than his family, causing Marge fears that he is having an affair with Lurleen.
