After Lisa's school concert the family go to see a Monster Truck rally. While there, after a close call with a fire-breathing mechanical dinosaur made of truck parts, Bart sees daredevil Lance Murdock and wants to be like him. Despite his family forbidding it, Bart entertains his school-mates with dangerous stunts with his skateboard. But boredom kicks in when the thrills lose their appeal, and so Bart decides to kick it up a notch by jumping Springfield Gorge.
