Running Time: 30 minutes (approx)

So what does one do when God (James Garner) decides that He wants to destroy His grand plan - the planet that He made in six days - with just one click of His celestial fingers? It could all be over in moments except that He decides to give Mankind one final chance. However, to make a deal more interesting, God lets the Devil (Alan Cumming) choose Mankind's last hope. Not wanting to be cheated as he was over the Flood, the Devil chooses unassuming Bob Alman (French Stewart).

Mistake. Big mistake. Bob is not the greatest choice. Even by his own admission, Bob isn't exactly the right man for the job: "God, I think you made a mistake choosing me to save the world ... I drink, I swear, I download porn off the Internet. And I mean, a lot." With the future of Mankind resting in the hands of Bob Alman, is the world doomed?

In the first episode, not only does Bob have to deal with the fact that God has selected him to save Mankind but he has also has family problems. His daughter has hit P.U.B.E.R.T.Y, his son - who can see God - wants to know what gadgets God comes with, and his wife accuses him of not listening when, patently, she isn't listening to him when he tells her he has become a prophet. How much worse can life get?

A whole lot worse. The Devil is a tempting little fellow, offering him everything from busty blondes to playing for his favourite ice hockey team. The alternative is an eternity in Hell. Great choices. And then there's God, obsessing about pop tarts and leaving messages on Bob's Ansaphone.

This is a satirical examination of God's relationship with the Devil, with Man caught in the middle.
