In an effort to up her popularity, Meg has a slumber party. However, the night is disrupted by the embarrassing antics of both Lois and Peter. Mortified, Meg takes the family on a talk show where they are 'discovered' by network execs. The Griffins become a TV sensation when they are followed around by cameras 24-hours a day in a show called The Real Griffins. Soon after the show's premiere, executives decide that Meg is too boring and have her recast.
